Penn Literacy Network

Committed to the improvement of Instructional Leadership, the Penn Literacy Network (PLN) offers comprehensive professional development and curricular enhancement opportunities in a variety of on-site credit and non-credit bearing seminars, workshops, and mentoring programs to educators pre-K through 12th grade. Penn Literacy Network empowers teachers and school leaders to build a research-based understanding of the important link between learning and literacy in all content areas. Participants explore the research, best practices, and instructional models that promote collaborative, reflective practice in developing plans to implement at the classroom, grade, department, school, or district level. As a key component of the Penn Center of Educational Leadership, and a trailblazer in the area of professional development for nearly thirty years, the Penn Literacy Network continues to prepare leaders and practitioners locally and globally who impact high achievement for all learners.
